Meet Our Realtor – Wendy Fowler

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living is thrilled to welcome Wendy Fowler to our growing team of real estate professionals. Wendy brings with her a unique blend of energy, life experience, and a genuine passion for helping people find their perfect home along the Grand Strand.

Originally from Goldsboro, North Carolina, Wendy has called Tabor City home for nearly three decades. She met her husband, Chris, while attending East Carolina University, and together they’ve built a life centered around family, community, and hard work. Chris, a local contractor, played a key role in inspiring Wendy’s transition into real estate. After years of observing his work and developing a love for homes, whether new, historic, or under renovation, Wendy decided to pursue her real estate license. She officially became a licensed South Carolina real estate agent in early 2025.

Wendy’s journey to real estate is as well-rounded as it is inspiring. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education and spent many years teaching 7th and 8th grade Language Arts, eventually moving up to teach high school English. Her career in education taught her the value of communication, organization, and personal connection—skills that now serve her well in real estate. In addition to her time in the classroom, Wendy also launched a successful photography business that continues to thrive today. She specializes in portraits of graduates, families, and children, working both on location and in her studio in Tabor City.

Though she didn’t grow up vacationing in Myrtle Beach, the area quickly won Wendy’s heart. Her husband’s family introduced her to the vibrant coastal lifestyle—shopping, dining, entertainment, and the beautiful beaches—that make the Grand Strand such a desirable place to live. Today, she’s excited to help others experience the charm of this area for themselves.

When it came time to choose a real estate agency, Wendy found her way to Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living through a trusted friend and fellow agent, Teresa Graham. What began as a phone call for advice turned into an opportunity to join a supportive, knowledgeable team—one that values mentorship, collaboration, and personal growth.

Wendy’s strengths as an agent lie in her understanding of home construction, her familiarity with local neighborhoods, and her warm, approachable nature. She’s someone who never meets a stranger and always goes the extra mile to make people feel at ease. Her goal is not just to sell homes, but to create lasting relationships and guide clients confidently through one of life’s biggest decisions.

What motivates Wendy most? A desire to succeed, make a name for herself in the industry, and become known as a trusted, go-to expert in real estate. She’s excited to meet her first clients, host open houses, and match families with the perfect homes in the Myrtle Beach area.
