Hello Again! Our team at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Elliott Coastal Living in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is continuing to grow, and we are back to introduce you to another new agent, Teresa Graham. She grew up in Loris, South Carolina, approximately 35 miles from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Teresa’s father was a contractor, and her mother was a full-time housewife. According to Teresa, she learned a plethora of information on buildings, architecture, and design from her father, who worked on multi-million-dollar building projects. She believes her interest in homes and real estate comes from her father and his passion for the building process.
Teresa attended Tabor City High School in North Carolina, where she played softball and volleyball. When she graduated, she attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College, which is approximately 10 miles east of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and majored in Photography.
After earning her degree, Teresa worked for an Insurance Agency in Loris, South Carolina, approximately 20 miles west of North Myrtle Beach. She worked in the Insurance Agency for years until she decided to take some time off to be a full-time housewife to her husband, Perrin, and stay-at-home mom for her three children: Kayla—now 26; Hunter—now 20; and Tristen, who is currently 14. She also has two “fur babies”—an English Bulldog, Pickles, and a Silver Lab, Bullet.
As Teresa’s children grew older, she began working for the family business, Carolina Linen, where her responsibilities included management, payroll, human resources, and accounting. She worked for Carolina Linen for over 15 years.
Teresa enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. Her hobbies include spending time on the beach, paddleboarding, and with her children. Additionally, she has always been interested in photography, home design, and renovating, making the transition to real estate easy for her. Now that Teresa has become a beach real estate agent, let’s see how she feels about her business.
Q: Teresa, there are many real estate agencies located in North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and along the Grand Strand, but you chose Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living (BHGRE/ECL). Why?
A: Coming to BHGRE was an easy decision for me. To begin with, the staff and support at BHGRE are fantastic. BHGRE is large enough to provide diverse properties for diverse clients’ needs but small enough to offer unmatched customer service. They have made the transition easy for me, with room to grow. I’m excited to grow alongside a well-respected company.
Q: How will you market yourself to a potential client that causes them to choose you as their agent?
A: I will highlight my strengths as an effective communicator. I find that clients respond most readily to genuine agents. I’m confident clients will respond to my demeanor and “Southern hospitality.”
Q: What assets do you have that will contribute to your success as a beach real estate agent?
A: I’m incredibly driven, and I believe I have a unique ability to understand people and make their dreams realities. I have a great understanding of the market and promise the ultimate satisfaction for my clients.
Q: Now that you are a North Myrtle Beach Real Estate Agent, what do you like best about the job?
A: The greatest joy, for me, is working with and meeting wonderful people. Whether selling an old home or finding your dream home, I still experience great happiness when we accomplish our goals. I love making the buying and selling process rewarding and exciting.
Q: As a real estate agent at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in the Myrtle Beach area, you will not have set office hours, so you must be self-motivated. What motivates you?
A: I have always been an extremely driven and inherently self-motivated person.
Q: When you list a house for a client in the Myrtle Beach area, what means of marketing will you use to reach other realtors and potential clients?
A: I will use all websites available, including BHGRE and the MLS, which will reach all realtors.
Q: How will you create your client base as a Myrtle Beach Real Estate Agent?
A: I will use my many friends and family members to create a client base fed from web interaction and face-to-face correspondence.
Q: What do you think will be the most rewarding aspect of your job as a real estate agent for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living in Myrtle Beach?
A: Nothing is more exciting than the gratifying feeling I get from helping people meet their real estate needs. You can count on me to always do what’s in their best interest. I pride myself on being honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable in the real estate market. I know how important it is to find your dream home or get the best offer for your property. Therefore, I will make it my responsibility to help the clients achieve those goals, whether they are an experienced investor or a first-time buyer. I can help them find the property of their dreams.
